Fed: Abbott says rosaries/overies shirt just tacky

Health Minister TONY ABBOTT has joined the fray over the rosaries/ovaries t-shirt ..

describing it as tacky and demonstrating an ill-tolerance of religion.

Mr ABBOTT says the "Keep your rosaries off my ovaries" t-shirt .. worn by Australian
Greens Senator KERRY NETTLE as the upper house started its debate on the abortion drug
RU486 .. was in bad taste.

He says the fact he's a Catholic .. doesn't mean he's unable to make a balanced decision
.. and this is a real smear against religion.
