FED:Henry to step down from Treasury

Prime Minister JULIA GILLARD has described departing Treasury boss KEN HENRY .. as
one of the greatest of all Treasury secretaries.

Dr HENRY is stepping down in March next year.

He'll be succeeded by MARTIN PARKINSON .. the head of the federal Department of Climate
Change and previously deputy secretary in Treasury.

Ms GILLARD's praised Dr HENRY's contribution to the development of tax policy .. including
his review of the tax system .. and to the nation's prosperity .. during his more than
25 years at Treasury .. 10 as secretary.
