VIC: Two face charges over pier attack

MELBOURNE, Feb 8 AAP - Two men are expected to be charged today over a baseball bat attack
in Melbourne which left a 27-year-old in hospital with head injuries.

Police said the man was attacked at Station Pier, Port Melbourne, yesterday afternoon
after an arguement with the driver of a car which had driven through a crowd of people
visiting an American warship.

Police said the car was driven erratically through the crowd with its horn blaring.
